The beginning
November 2023 - These cups were the first pieces I ever made on the wheel. I remember being quite proud of having managed to make them, with help, of course, but I was still very happy. I didn't end up keeping any of them, but they are all being used by family members, even after these 3 years.
January 2024 - The first mugs I made (obviously the big challenge was the handles), I recall it was quite difficult to make them.
February 2024 - I really like this teapot and the black glaze I used. If you look closely, you can see that the small holes where the tea is supposed to come out are closed (I didn't repeat this mistake again), so it's nothing more than a decorative teapot.
April 2024 - When I started trying to make taller and narrower pieces.
June 2024 - The first plate.
January 2025 - For New Year's Eve 2024, I participated in a wood-firing session. This is a type of firing where the kiln that bakes the pieces, instead of being electric, is fueled by wood. The results obtained from such a firing are quite unique and very difficult or impossible to replicate otherwise.
March 2025 - In March, I started making vases. In this case, the difficulty was that making larger pieces also requires using more clay, which is always a challenge.
May 2025 - Table legs, a project I did in collaboration with a friend.
July 2025 - In July, I continued to use red clay and did some tests with these mugs of different colours and shapes.
September 2025 - The tests continue, but this time on bowls and with a different clay.
December 2025 - 1st market I participated in - Jardins Bombarda.
February 2026 - Currently, I've been making various two-part vases, meaning the piece is initially divided horizontally into two shapes that I then join to create the vase. If you look closely at the middle of the piece, you can see the joint line between the two parts.
